Freddy Hardest is known by the same name everywhere. It is a 1987 Spanish game from Dinamic Software, released for the ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, MSX, Commodore 64 and PC.

Freddy Hardest is an action game that the Spanish company Dinamic Software developed and published in 1987 for the ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, MSX, Commodore 64 and PC. It was designed by Luis Rodríguez Soler and programmed by Emilio Salgueiro, who was still in high school at the time; Javier and Manuel Cubedo wrote the music. It belongs to the golden age of Spanish software.

The game comes in two parts that load separately, and finishing the first gives an access code for the second. In the second part the laser slowly recharges after each shot, so the player sometimes has to wait before firing.

The sequel, Freddy Hardest en Manhattan Sur, took a completely different approach. It was programmed by the Uruguayan team Iron Byte and sold outside Spain as Guardian Angel. In April 2025 Dinamic and GameZ announced a new sequel, Freddy Hardest 2, for 2026.12
