How it works
Every day at midnight UTC the atlas picks one game from its catalogue, and everyone gets the same game on the same date. The first clue tells you the year and region of the first release. If your guess is wrong, the next clue opens: the platforms the game came out on, its genre and number of players, the developer, the title it carried in another region, and finally the first letter of its name. You have six tries.
Any official title counts as a correct answer: the Japanese name, the European or North American box title, a romanised reading or a known alternative title. Start typing and pick a title from the suggestions, or type it in full; capital letters and punctuation do not matter. When you finish, you can open the game's page in the atlas to see every regional release and where to play it legally today, and copy your result as a row of coloured squares to share without spoiling the answer. Your streak is stored only in your browser.
