Uniracers is a racing game developed by DMA Design and published by Nintendo for the SNES. It came out in North America on 5 December 1994 and in Europe on 27 April 1995, where it was renamed Unirally. It was designed by Mike Dailly and Robbie Graham.
Instead of cars, players race unicycles. The game has nine tours of five tracks each, 45 in all, and 16 unicycle colors, each with its own save file. Two players can race in split screen, and a league mode lets up to eight players compete in one-on-one races.
According to Dailly, Pixar sued DMA Design because the unicycle looked like the one in its 1987 short Red's Dream, and DMA lost; however, no record of such a lawsuit has been found. Dailly also said the initial run of 300,000 cartridges was the only one, and the game has never been re-released.1
