The Adventures of Batman & Robin is a side-scrolling platformer that Konami developed and published for the Super NES. It came out in Europe in November 1994 and in North America in December 1994, about a month apart.
The game is based on Batman: The Animated Series, which was retitled The Adventures of Batman and Robin for its second season. The game's title was changed at the last minute to match, even though Robin is not playable. Across eight levels Batman fights with batarangs, a grappling hook and smoke bombs, and some stages require gadgets such as x-ray glasses or a gas mask. There are infinite continues and passwords, and the visuals keep the show's art deco look.
The Sega Genesis, Sega CD and Game Gear games of the same name, released in 1995, are different games made by other studios.12
