A Week of Garfield, or Gāfīrudo no Isshūkan in Japanese, is a Famicom game released in Japan on 7 April 1989. It was developed by Mars Corp. and published by Towa Chiki.
The game is based on Jim Davis's comic strip Garfield, and the cast includes Garfield himself, his owner Jon Arbuckle and the dog Odie. Towa Chiki classed it as an action game.
For the publisher it was a fairly early step on the console: A Week of Garfield was Towa Chiki's fourth Famicom release, following its Sherlock Holmes games and Elnark no Zaihō. Because it came out only in Japan, the English name is simply a translation of the Japanese title rather than an official Western release.123
