Felix the Cat kept the same title on NES in North America and Europe and on Game Boy; it was never released in Japan. In 2024 Konami brought the NES and Game Boy versions back together in a compilation for Switch, PS4 and PS5, which adds saving and rewind.

Felix the Cat is a platformer developed by Shimada Kikaku and published by Hudson Soft for the NES in North America in October 1992; Sony Electronic Publishing released it in Europe the same year. Felix sets out to defeat the Professor, who has kidnapped his girlfriend Kitty. His attack depends on his magic level, and every hit he takes drops it by one level. The adventure spans nine worlds with eight bosses.

Although the game was made in Japan, it never came out there: a Famicom version planned for December 1992 did not appear. A monochrome Game Boy version with fewer levels followed in 1993, and a Windows version was rated by the ESRB but never released.

On 28 March 2024 the NES and Game Boy versions returned together in a compilation for Switch, PS4 and PS5, put together by Limited Run Games with its Carbon Engine and published by Konami.1
